Foxy Brown's 'Mooning' Trial Gets Off To Rocky Start

Foxy Brown's trial for allegedly mooning a neighbor last year got off to a rough start today, (June 21st) in Brooklyn criminal court.

Foxy, born Inga Marchand, was reprimanded by a judge, after she showed up over two hours late for the first day of her trial for the incident.

According to The New York Daily News, Foxy's lawyer Salvatore Srazzullo,  provided her the wrong time to appear in court, resulting in her tardiness.

The judge immediately reprimanded foxy, who produced text messages proving that her lawyer gave her with the wrong time.

Foxy Brown is on trial over an July, 21st, 2010 incident in which she is accused of mooning her neighbor Arlene Raymond during an altercation in her Prospect Heights, Brooklyn neighborhood.

The two women have a long-running feud.

Foxy Brown was previously convicted of assaulting Raymond with her BlackBerry during an altercation in August of 2007.

Brown was convicted of assault, sentenced to one year in prison and was ordered to have no contact with Raymond.

But Foxy is accused of violating the restraining order that was put in place from the incident when she shouted that Raymond was a "dirty b**ch" and lifted up her skirt to flash her bottom at her rival.

The rapper was charged with public lewdness, criminal contempt, menacing, harassment and other violations.

Most of the felony charges against Foxy were dismissed in September of 2010, but Foxy still remains on trial for violating the protective order.

Foxy denied all the charges shortly after her arrest.

"This is what we tell all the haters: You can't keep a good b***h down," Foxy Brown said. "We makes bail."

Foxy Brown's trial begins July 12th. If convicted she faces up to a year in prison.
