Tony Yayo Reacts To Nicki Minaj's "Tragedy" Diss

G-Unit's Tony Yayo could not resist publicly sharing his reaction to Nicki Minaj's new "Tragedy" diss aimed at rap rival Lil Kim and admitted the record is "crazy." Although brief with his reaction, Yayo applauded the fellow Queens, New York rapper's record. "This new tragedy nicki minaj. Crazy its on," Yayo tweeted April 2nd. (Tony Yayo's Twitter) On the record, Nicki makes multiple references to Kim's long run in the rap game. "Eh yo, Pink Friday, Eminem, 8 Mile," Nicki raps, "It must hurt to sell your album off PayPal/Especially when you're in the game, 15-20/You was hot when Shaq teamed up with Penny/Man, you was 'Magic', I mean/Look at you now, h*e, you're just tragic/You a tragedy, you a parody/Last name Ann, first name Raggedy/These goofy b*tches is stupidity personified..." ("Tragedy") According to reports, the track comes from the hands of a producer named Hit-Boy. Just when you thought it was over, Nicki Minaj swings back at Lil' Kim on a new diss record. A snippet of the unfinished track made its way to Funkmaster Flex, who reports that it may end up on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV. This time, the Young Money Barbie doesn't beat around the bush, taking direct shots at the Queen Bee. Hit-Boy confirms that he produced the marching beat and that the final version will also feature production from Boi-1da. It will go by a title other than "Tragedy" in its final form. (Rap-Up) Last February, Kim talked about the success of her Black Friday retail mixtape's PayPal sales. "Thanks to you guys!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours which made me the #1 seller on paypal ever =) !!! THANK U! RT," she tweeted February 15th. "Sorry 4 the link issue too many hits shut the paypal system DOWN! LOL. We BACK #LilKimBlackFridayMixtape Buy Now! ---> http://bit.ly/gLIYa6" (Lil Kim's Twitter) Last summer, Yayo discussed predicting Minaj's rise to fame. "She was out there and she was messing with this guy named Fendi. I was trying to do a record with her, but Fendi was like, 'For what? Why you wanna do something with her?' Then I left it alone. This was a long, long time ago when I was seeing her on the 'Come Up' DVDs, 'cause that's how she started," Yayo explained in an interview. "You know what's crazy? Like, three years ago, I said to [music executive and G-Unit producer] Sha Money [XL] ... 'You need a hot female artist, rapper. I'm telling you, that lane is open. I'm telling you, Sha, that female lane, that rapper lane is wide open.' What she did was capture it at the right time, 'cause nobody's out. There's no Lil' Kim out, there's no Foxy [Brown]... she just conquered that lane at the right time with the right people."

"We Dedicate Our Life To This & We Make Sacrifices For Success"

Cash Money Records co-founder Baby recently delved into why his label continues to succeed and what the future holds for the Cash Money/Young Money roster. Satisfied with the success of Nicki Minaj and Drake's debut albums last year, Baby said expect more greatness from the CMYMB regime. Cash Money is planning for a busy year, too, which will also include releases by Drake, Minaj, Kevin Rudolf, Lil Twist, Mack Maine, Shanell and Tyga. "It feels like a new excitement around here," Birdman reports. "We had Nicki blast off, Drake blast off, Wayne's back...It just feels like a whole new excitement around here. It's a real family, a team. We look after each other and are there for each other. We dedicate our life to this, and we make sacrifices for success. There's no stopping with us." (Billboard) A leaked listing of Cash Money/Young Money album release dates hit the Internet last month. Get ready to hear a whole lot of Young Money Cash Money Billionaires this summer. YMCMB is readying releases from Wayne, Bow Wow, Lil Twist, G Malone & Brisco, DJ Khaled, Birdman & Jay Sean, and rounding it all out, Drake. Apparently Birdman has officially handed in tentative dates for releases to the CEO of Blu Division Music. Interesting enough the list is titled "YMCMB A Hot Summer." If this holds true this is going to be the hottest summer under the sun! May 24: Lil Wayne. June 7: Bow Wow. June 14: G Malone & Brisco. June 21: Lil Twist. June 28: DJ Khaled. July 5: Birdman & Jay Sean. September 13: Drake. (The Source) Lil Wayne later came forward and officially announced the release date for his next album, Tha Carter IV. "Tha Carter IV is done," Wayne told MTV News. "All they need to do is tell Tez [manager Cortez Bryant] to stop sitting on it. Tez, stop sitting on Tha Carter IV and put the album out." Bryant, Weezy's longtime manager, was in attendance and provided the specific release date. "May 16, believe that," Wayne said. "It can come out tomorrow 'cause I'm so finished ... Tha Carter IV will be dropping May 16. If you're not doing anything, do me," he added. (MTV) In February, Drake revealed his focus on making a follow-up to last year's Thank Me Later. "I am truly enjoying my life right now," Drake wrote Monday (February 7). "Its been so long since I have wrote anything on here because I feel like for a while I was trying to digest it all and save it for the music. But its finally set in that I am living my dreams and doing with all my closest friends from Toronto. I wake up and never know what to expect from any given day but good or bad I always learn something from it. I have decided that I am going to push "It's Never Enough" and focus completely on delivering Take Care to you all. I feel like my mind is truly ready to make this next album NOW and I don't want that feeling to escape me. My mother is doing well for all who have been asking. She went to her first swimming class the other day and won gold...not really but you know what I mean. OVO gang is all smiles and 40 is making some of the best music I have heard in my entire career. I am in the airport right now headed to LA to meet up with Boi 1da tonight. Its all feeling right. Its truly been a pleasure to speak again. Thank you for all your energy. Soon. Guidance."

Webbie Live in Concert April 2nd 2011.wmv

A wild fight broke out inside of an East Saint Louis nightclub after a performance featuring rapper Webbie, resulting in a security guard being wounded, as gunfight erupted inside the club.

According to police reports, Webbie was in town and at the nightclub when a fight broke out inside of Blackmon's Plaza earlier this morning (April 3rd).

Over 40 State Police officers arrived on the scene after receiving calls that a huge fight was taking place inside of the club, while two additional fights were taking place outside of the club.

Police said that two security guards were attempting to control the crowd. When one of the guards used his weapon to strike one of the patrons fighting, his gun discharged, striking another security by accident.

Local police officers in East Saint Louis are outraged, according to The Belleville News-Democrat.

Only three local East Saint Louis police officers were on duty to patrol the entire city of 25,000 people, due to budgetary constraints.

During the melee at Blackmon's, fights broke out a two other clubs, Club Flava and The Mansion.

According to Mayor Alvin L. Parks, Blackmon's will temporarily lose its liquor license, as police investigate the incident.
