Diddy's First Women's Fragrance Makes a Royal Debut
Diddy is continuing to venture into new worlds. His "I am King" fragrance took off and now he's launching a new scent for ladies named "Empress."
The essence of the perfume is noted as fruity, floral and regal. It will be exclusively sold at Macy's department store.
"I created Empress for the woman who is powerful beyond all others,” Diddy said in a statement.
D'Angelo Back In The Studio Working On 'Voodoo' Follow Up
It only took eleven years but apparently rumored drug abuse and run-ins with the law have kept D'Angelo away from the studio long enough. The follow up to his last disc, Voodoo is reportedly on the way according to Roots' drummer, Questlove.
Questlove was tweeting from a session with the soul singer who is working on James River, expected later this year or early 2012 on J Records.

Lil Boosie Indicted
Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie was indicted yesterday (July 14), as authorities are alleging the Baton Rouge emcee smuggled codeine into Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, where he is currently housed.
In May, two other men were charged along with Boosie of attempting to sneak codeine into the prison. The other men, Titus Franklin and Arthur Stewart, were indicted along with Boosie.
Bad Azz now faces, "one count of criminal conspiracy to take contraband to and from a penal institution and another count of inciting a felony.”
A conviction on the charges could lead to an additional two to four years to Boosie's prison stint. He is currently serving time for a drug charge and awaiting trial for first-degree murder.
Carl Thomas is back with new music after years of being hiatus.
The R&B crooner has released his new single "It Ain't Fair" off his Conquer album set to drop this October.
Additionally Carl's also been promoting his song "Round 2", a sexy new track for the ladies.

In between motherhood, the R&B songbird has been recording her fifth album with longtime collaborator Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.
XXL revealing more details on Dipset’s upcoming film tentatively titled, Diplomatic Immunity, which will coincide with their next album. Juelz says it will not be in documentary form, but an actual scripted flick.
“It’s gonna be a movie like the way they did Notorious. But we’re just gonna be playin’ ourselves. That might be the first [movie] where we get to play ourselves instead of havin’ people. We’ll do it when we’re younger, but as it gets to us we’ll really play ourselves, cut the hair off our face so we look younger and shit like that. Cam might have to gain some weight from when he was big. Jim would have to grow his braids back, get some extensions and all that ’cause he cut his hair. We gon’ figure it out, but we gon’ do it right.”
