Artist spotlight pure

Newark, New Jersey native Pure has one of those voices that will be remembered for years to come. With his soulful and smoky tone reminiscent of old school R and B. Pure sights Prince, R. Kelly, and James Brown among his top influences. He makes you feel it’s possible for r and b /dance music to be sung about “Love” and the artist actually mean it, “not I kind of love you or you look so good I have to love you”. While keeping it sexy and making us dance. This stands out among some of the other young r and b crooners. Pure states “As a songwriter and producer as well as a singer, I think it’s important to continue creating music and let the fans make their own decisions as to what type of music it is rather than trying to fit my music into a category.”

And with that versatile style Pure is sure to go far. Check out his video for his single “The Stars” directed by Itchy House Films Jay Rodriguez and Rock Davis. Produced by the Venture Broz. I am so excited about what’s to come for Pure’s career the sky is limit. Follow him on Twitter – HERE.

vybz kartel launches skin bleaching product line designed men

This is no Saturday Night Live skit. It’s real life.

Awaiting trial on a charge of conspiracy to murder has not killed Vybz Kartel’s entrepreneurial spirit. No shade to the decease, of course. The former Mr. Hanky stunt double is launching his own range of men’s cosmetics this month which includes a variety of skin-brightening products containing hydroquinone.

When ONE WEEK OLD DOG POO GATE first broke back in the beginning of the year Kartel claimed to use cake soap, a clothes-bleaching product, to lighten his skin in order to make his tattoos more visible. But after the Jamaican manufacturer of the product refuted his claims he explained that he actually used his own special blend.

Soon the controversial musician’s secret recipe will be available to buy. Think of it as Carol’s Daughter for the self-loathing market.

Buyer beware. Kartel’s past endorsements track record is a pretty shit one. His line of DAGGERING CONDOMS had a reputation for splitting.

While the rest of the world is sweating it out in the race to maintain a healthy lifestyle Paula Dean is waiting at the finish line with a stick of butter in each hand doing her signature grandma chuckle.

“Well, I did a show with Michelle and I just loved being with her,” Deen told Yeas & Nays. “She probably ate more than any other guest I’ve ever had on the show — she kept eating even during commercials.”

Deen taught Obama how to fry shrimp during a TV segment in September before the 2008 presidential election. “You know what their favorite foods are — it’s hot wings, you know, those kinds of foods that are not necessarily top-of-the-list healthy foods, so she’s no different than the rest of us,” Deen said. “We love those kinds of foods, we just know that we can’t eat them everyday.”

The culinary superstar also said she supported the first lady’s initiative to get more Americans gardening. “So I love that,” she said. “I was really happy to see her encouraging children, you know, to plant their little gardens.”

I think we have all witnessed passive aggressive shade in our lives (and by lives I mean Facebook walls) to realize that “she probably ate more than any other guest I’ve ever had on the show — she kept eating even during commercials” and “little gardens” is spot on.
