Hip-Hop Rumors: Teyana Taylor Signed To Kanye West?

Word on the streets is that Kanye West has signed the young, unique talent known as Teyana Taylor. Yep. Now, I heard these two had a different sort of "agreement," but I didn't want to blow up anybody's spot or anything. That's just the word. But, the new word is that Teyana is the first female Kanye has ever signed. I think that's actually true. As you know, she was down with The Neptunes and even finished an album with them, but that album never came out...unless you got the leak. CONGRATS! Here is a recent pic of her for Vibe magazine.

R.I.P. DJ Megatron, Of Hot 97 And 106 & Park

According to the New York Daily News, Hot 97 and 106 & Park personality DJ Megatron was shot and killed early this morning on Staten Island. The paper reported that witnesses said they heard a shot at around 2 a.m. Then, briefly after, he was pronounced dead as a result of a wound to his stomach. Police apparently would not confirm Megatron's identity to the Daily News as they were still investigating the shooting. A Pennsylvania native, Megatron got his start interning at Kiss FM in New York before moving to Hot 97. He also worked at several other nearby stations, including Boston's Hot 97.7 and Philly's 100.3 The Beat, according to Karen Civil. Also, as his IMDB page indicates, he was working on building his acting resume after appearing in films such as State Property 2 and Blood of a Champion.
