DJ Clue Loses Dad On Fathers Day; Rappers Offer Condolences

(June 19th), while everyone was enjoying time honoring or remembering their fathers on Fathers Day, DJ Clue lost his.

Due to unknown circumstances at press time, DJ Clue's father, Ernesto Shaw Sr., passed away last night.

“Never take for granted time wit your loved ones. Didn't know last nite when I said gnite to my Dad..it would be for the last time. R.I.P. Dad,” DJ Clue Tweeted.

DJ’s and rappers recently Tweeted their condolences to DJ Clue in this hard time.

"R.I.P 2 My Uncle... My mom Got u Tio ! ya'll back together !" DJ Storm Tweeted to DJ Clue.

"Take some time and say a prayer, offer salaat for @DJCLUE and his family Son Word! He lost his Pops last night! Hold Your Head my Brother!" Ghostface Killah Tweeted.

"God bless @DJCLUE and the Shaw family. We salute and will definately [sic] keep u in our prayers frm myself and whole #CONGLOMERATE family bro," Busta Rhymes said via Twitter.

The tragic news comes on the heels of DJ Clue's announcement that he has plans to drop another album in The Professional series. 

This will be the fourth project in The Professional series for DJ Clue, and fans should expect to hear a project full of collaborations as his previous projects included tacks with Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, DMX, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Cassidy, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, Juelz Santana, The Lox and Paul Wall
