40 Glocc: Shots Fired

California rapper 40 Glocc is leader of the ZooLife Entertainment Label, and he said his Big Bad 4-0 New World Agenda is his calling card and inspiration for the moves he’s been making recently. 40 Glocc has worked with rappers like Dr. Dre, The Alchemist, and Ras Kass over the years.

On albums like Graveyard Shift with Spider Loc, he said the studio time was one of his better experiences.

40 Glocc also runs in circles with people like rapper-turned-actor Mark Wahlberg, who is helping him to develop his acting chops.

“I just basically been chilling, working,” said 40 Glocc to AllHipHop.com. “I got my new street single that’s fitting to drop – it’s with me, Snoop, Exhibit, E40, Too Short, and my homie Seven – it’s called “Welcome to California.” I got an album coming out in September, and a new single with Cee-Lo, so I’ve been working.

For the most part, the low-key MC says he stays to himself and his people, makes good music, and is looking for new acting opportunities. That’s why he says he can’t understand why people and things that don’t involve him keep creeping up and causing problems.

Recently, rapper Compton Menace announced that the ongoing beef – involving actual chain snatching and punches in the face – between 40 Glocc and himself was over.

Problem is, in the midst of all of the drama, 40 Glocc contends he doesn’t even know Menace. AllHipHop.com rode through NYC with 40 Glocc on his way to practice for his new role in the upcoming Urban Wrestling Federation pay-per-view event, to air on June 26.

Hear why he’s pretty irritated right now with Menace, a few other people, and laws that just keep coming at his neck:
