Gucci Mane’s Tattoo Artist Will No Longer Do Big Facial Tats

Gucci Mane is likely to be the last person to ever get a facial tattoo with triple scoop ice cream cone with lightening bolts from Atlanta’s Tenth Street Tattoo.
Shane Willoughby, the artist that tatted Gucci’s face, said he probably won’t do that again.

"I was [hesitant] like 'Are you sure you want to put that much [ink] in that area?,'" Willoughby told Vibe.com. "He came straight to the counter and that's where he pointed."

The tattooist also said that he suggested to the rapper that he put the ice cream cone else where, but Gucci had an issue with that.

"When [Gucci] said he wanted to do the ice cream thing I said 'Well why don't we do it somewhere else?' But he was like I don't have anywhere else."

Willoughby said Gucci came into the shop at about 2PM and was completely sober, dispelling any rumors that he was inebriated.

"I won't tattoo anybody if they’re [drunk] or high because I can't stand the smell of weed... [Gucci] seemed completely sober” ha explained. “He knew what he was doing. He said 'I want something rock 'n roll.' There's nothing more rock 'n roll than lightening bolts."

While he has tattooed other celebrities like Chilli from TLC, Willoughby said he won’t likely oblige other celebs in the future if they have outrageous requests like Gucci.

"I don't think I'll ever do [that] again... no matter how successful [the celebrity]."

And Gucci was excited over the tattoo, Willoughby concluded.

"He was stoked. Had no regrets... was jumping up and down. That's the way he rolls."

Gucci was recently at Atlanta's Anchor Hospital for psychiatric evaluation, but has since been released.
