After a first look at some accessories from the visvim Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection, we can now take a closer look into the bags, footwear and apparel for the season. Throughout the collection we see abundant use of denim/chambray while the luggage feels more toned down than in seasons past.

This week Lanvin released their new mid cut hiking boot from the Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Featuring mat lizard skin and premium suede on the upper, the large elastic strip is certainly the stand-out feature on the rubber soled boot. It is now available in the official Lanvin online store.

Japan’s Neighborhood is pushing a great mid-height workboot for Autumn/Winter 2011. The rich burgundy leather mixes well with the brown/yellow boot laces and white Vibram wedge sole, while the elastic Chelsea boot esque panel and long heel tab combo offers a new easy-entry take on the style. There’s also a shiny black leather version for those looking for something more traditional.

For Spring 2012 Clarks Originals has gotten together with uniform experiment. The Japanese brand chose one of the most classic silhouettes of the brand – the Wallabee. The shoe comes in a light beige and navy suede colorway, featuring small UE logo placements on the heel. Look out for the release early 2012.

visvim Virgil Boots Kudu–Folk

The workboot-inspired visvim Virgil appears this week in premium waxed-kudu leather. Overall four colorways are offered, each of which features hand-stitched uppers with a contrast TPU heel counter and a Vibram outsole. These are unlined, with a natural cork footbed. And as with most visvim models, socks are optional, but frowned upon.
