Quad Studios, the New York recording studio infamously known as the spot that sparked a bi-coastal beef after Tupac Shakur was robbed and shot there in 1994, will reopen this weekend.
The new studio will be located in a newly renovated space in Times Square.
Though the old studio is mostly ingrained in the Hip-Hop vernacular because of the Tupac incident, many artists have recorded chart topping music there, including Jay-Z, LL Cool, Rihanna, Shabba Ranks and Whitney Houston.
An invite only unveiling event of the new studio will be held on Friday (October 21) from 7p.m. – 10p.m
