Marc Jacobs has released a slightly different take on the omnipresent
mid-top boat shoe. Featured in color-blocked, two-tone grey combo, the
suede Port shoe includes moccasin seam details, silver tone eyelets, and
a leather sole. SSENSE is selling these.
Jordan Brand present two new Air Jordan 1 Phat colorways for July 2011.
Above is a very clean and classic white and obsidian blue make up in
suede and leather. The second option is done in all white, mixing in
“carbon” panels and slight wolf grey accents. These will be available at
Jordan accounts in July.

We get an early look at two solid new color-ups of the UK Made New
Balance M1500. The running sneaker comes in red/grey/black and
purple/grey/black colorways, featuring mesh and suede uppers with
premium leather accents. Hanon will be carrying them from Fall 2011.
Lil Wayne taped his MTV Unplugged performance this past Thursday in
L.A. During his set, he also debuted “Nightmares of the Bottom” off Tha Carter IV . The Los Angeles Times was on hand and got Wayne’s take on his appearance. Show airs June 12th.
“It was humbling just to be a
part of. As an artist that’s watched the game as closely as I did, to
be on ‘Unplugged’ is a high honor,” Wayne said. “I’ve gotten people that
haven’t texted me in a long time, text me today saying congratulations.
It is that kind of thing. I felt great about it.”
I am hearing that Ryan Leslie is going to do the opposite of T-Pain –
singer-turned-rapper. Word. The last album he did was a silky smooth
R&B joint, but this time he’s flipping the script. There have always
been some comparisons to Drake in some form or fashion, so why not!? I
don’t know any more details other than his next CD, Les Is More, will be
comprised of all rapping. I guess he’ll do some singing, but I don’t
know.

Hackensack police arrested Cassidy this afternoon on an open warrant
for probation violation. They also labeled him as a suspect for a murder
and attempted murders in Philadelphia. Cas was brought to the Bergen
County Jail Annex and awaits extradition to Philly.
