Does Wale Gotta Choke A Bish At The BET Awards?
WALE HAD TO SON PEOPLE TO GET IN THE AWARDS!?
Wale seemed to have some issues getting into the BET Awards. I don't think it was really anything major.
Here is the bottom line per Wale:

Lloyd was not happy at not getting nominated for a BET Awards. But why is he mad on the night of the awards since he KNEW he wasn't nominated for weeks!

Canibus Launches New Website To Distribute His Music
Revered lyricist Canibus continues to forge an independent path in the music business, with the launch of a new website, www.canibuscatalogue.com.
According to Canibus, the new site is meant to showcase hours of unreleased recordings from the wordsmith, who plans to administer and run the website himself.
“Imagine hearing Enter The 36 Chambers, Illmatic, or The Infamous…for the first time now in 2011?," Canibus said in a statement. "This is the only way to give Hip-Hop fans all over the world that authentic golden era Hip-Hop now in groundbreaking and unprecedented fashion.”
The first release to drop via Canibus' new website is titled Lyrical Law, which will also be released in a deluxe package edition.
The three disc set comes complete with autographed copies of Lyrical Law, a second bonus disc comes with unreleased material, and the third disc contains the 1993 recordings of T.H.E.M. (The Heralds of Extreme Metaphors).
The Lyrical Law solo album, along with the deluxe edition version goes on sale tomorrow (June 28th), at http://www.canibuscatalogue.com.

Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music Lands Worldwide Deal With Island Def Jam
Rapper Kanye West continues his business affiliation with the Island Def Jam Music Group, as his imprint G.O.O.D. Music has inked a worldwide, long-term deal with the major label.
The first release under the new agreement will be Big Sean's highly anticipated debut, Finally Famous, which features the award-winning hit single “My Last,” featuring R&B singer Chris Brown.
"G.O.O.D. Music is an exciting new chapter in the long and successful association of Kanye West and Island Def Jam," said Island Def Jam's current CEO, Barry Weiss, who left Jive to take over as CEO at the label in March of 2007.
"As a recording artist and a producer over the past eight years, there is no one who has made a greater impression on the game than Kanye," Weiss said. "We look forward to working closely with the new and established artists that he will be bringing to G.O.O.D. Music, which is already off to an impressive start with Big Sean."
Kanye West has been labeled “an integral core" artist on the Island Def Jam Music Group, having sold over 20 million records since his debut in 2004, with the critically acclaimed album The College Dropout.
According to Steve Bartels, President and CEO of Island Def Jam Music Group, the investment into Kanye West's label is based on his proven success as a hit maker.
"Kanye's genius has been proven time and time again on records and onstage," said Bartels of the 14-time Grammy Award winning rapper/producer. "He not only pours it out for himself, but he has made the difference with his presence on innumerable projects with other artists who are indebted to him.
Big Sean's debut album Finally Famous is due in stores on June 28th via G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam Music Group.

KATT WILLIAMS LOSING IT?
I don't know what's going on with Katt Williams., but he is reporting "on something." I heard he recently was down there in Albuquerque, NM over the weekend and was acting a lil crazy. He wasn't telling any jokes and he took off most of his clothing! Eventually, his people removed him from the stage after when she talked, he was incoherent. WHoooooaaaaaaaaa...Check out this video.
I hope he is well, but push ups on stage is not a good sign. You know Katt was arrested last month and has had several bizarre encounters with the popo.
By the way, one of my sources sent the following and it goes further into the madness!
Ok normally I would'nt even say anything or get involved. But I want to say that Big Moon and I had nothing to do with the promotion, booking, organizing, or anything on this event besides hosting it. Yes it was unfortunate what happened, and I'm not taking sides. However anyone that was there, saw Katts behavior for themselves. Spitting chewing tobacco in his hands and rubbing it in his hair, yelling at the audience, leaving the stage to pray, doing push ups, and the list goes on. He did know about the show, he did get paid, he even did a drop on the air talking about how excited he was to come to albuquerque. Shawty, AJ, The JDS and us all did our jobs to make sure everyone was comfortable and had the best time possible. NO ONE had control over Katt but Katt. He showed up late, got served papers, and disappointed alot of people. I again am not defending the actual promoters but everyone who was backstage including Samuel L. Jackson could see that everyone was doing what they could to accomodate Katt and his late arrival and his stage show AND could see that something was wrong with him. Im a huge Katt Williams fan and was sad to see him in that state. But no is responsible for Katt but Katt.
